Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, particularly for seniors or individuals with special needs. This role is essential in promoting the well-being and comfort of our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
• Support clients with dementia care or other cognitive impairments through patience and understanding.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in assisted living or home care settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

• Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, nursing homes, or home care settings.
• Strong knowledge of patient care techniques, including medication administration and basic health monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others, particularly those requiring assistance due to age or health conditions.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively, especially when working with individuals experiencing dementia or other cognitive challenges.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while providing attentive care.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
