We are looking for a Coordinator, Human Resources and benefits

As a Coordinator, Human Resources and benefits, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support in the following areas: pension and benefits, leave management, health and safety, performance management and activities managed by the section. You will also act as the contact person and administrator for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), manage and grant permissions to the HRIS, maintain the system, perform data entry and generate reports, provide support to users of the system and act as the contact person with the vendor, as required.

Minimum of one to two (1 to 2) years of relevant experience in:

  • Administering programs related to Human Resources (pension and benefits, leave, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.);
  • Use and administration of an automated Human Resources database system;
  • Interpretation of collective agreements;
  • Coordinating information sessions and training;
  • Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel (solid skills in formatting spreadsheets, working with formulas, intermediate functions etc.).

Knowledge of:

  • Human resources administrative practices (Labour Relations, Occupational Health and Safety, benefits, etc.);
  • Employee pension and benefits programs administration;
  • The Canada Labour Code;
  • The Superannuation Act;
  • Working with collective agreements;
  • Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administration.

Education: Diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $ 61,393 to $ 84,101 (NU2)
Status: Temporary Full-Time Position until March 31, 2025 (#90364)
Security Level: Reliability Status
Location: 100, Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec
