Deli Clerk at Ellis Street Market

Join our team at Ellis Street Market as a Deli Clerk and become an essential part of our dynamic food service experience! We're seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food and customer service to help bring our deli department to life.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, and price deli products
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their orders and answering questions about our deli products
• Ensure food safety and quality control
• Stock deli cases and ensure displays are attractive
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a well-run deli department

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to food safety and hygiene
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
