• Looking for individuals and families of diverse sizes, backgrounds, ages to join our experienced and supportive team.
• Comprehensive training (attachment-focused and trauma informed parenting)
• Our team at Nairn Family Homes is committed to ongoing skill development and education of foster families.
• Every home is assigned a family supervisor. Our family supervisors have small caseloads in order to assist, advocate and support our foster families.
• Family supervisors provide dedicated attention to each family. You will never be alone with Nairn Family Homes by your side
• Family supervisors at Nairn Family Homes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It is important to know that foster parents are not paid in the traditional sense of the word. Foster parents receive a non-taxable daily amount that is meant cover expenses related to having children in the home.

In addition to this daily payment amount, Nairn Family Homes provides an additional allowance for clothing needs. While the daily pay rate should not be considered a replacement of a steady income, some families find the money helps support their current lifestyle (e.g. stay at home parent, homeschooling family etc).
