Job Description

TRYumph Gymnastics Academy is seeking a highly motivated and personable Bilingual Front Desk Officer to be the welcoming face of our facility. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both French and English and will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:

Greet and assist all visitors, students, and parents in both French and English, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere. Address inquiries and provide information about classes, schedules, and policies.

  • Phone Management:

Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing information and redirecting calls as necessary. Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

Assist in coordinating events, competitions.

  • Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate records, process registrations, and handle payments. Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining an organized front desk area.

  • Conflict Resolution:

Address any concerns or issues raised by parents or students in a proactive manner, ensuring a satisfactory resolution while maintaining the integrity of the academy.

  • Team Collaboration:

Work closely with coaches and administrative staff to enhance overall operations and streamline communication. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Maintain Facility Standards:

Ensure the front desk area is tidy and welcoming. Assist in upholding cleanliness and safety standards throughout the academy.

Qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency:

Fluent in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Experience:
Previous experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role is highly desirable, preferably in a recreational or educational setting.

Compensation: Starting at $17.20 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

  • Evening shifts: Monday to Friday
  • Weekend shifts: As needed

Location: In-person at our vibrant academy.
