Job Description

Looking to Make an Impact?

We're on the lookout for someone driven by passion, eager to take on challenges, and committed to making a difference. If you thrive on innovation and seek the freedom to work on your own terms while embracing responsibility, then this opportunity is for you.

As part of a mission-centric, locally delivered, and nationally powered organization, the Fundraising & Volunteer Engagement Director serves as a leader in advancing our mission, increasing volunteer engagement, and enhancing community outreach. The director is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of prospects, cultivating executive-level fundraisers, and raising the profile of the LLSC across Canada.

This remote position requires a strong emphasis on in-person engagement with our constituents. The successful candidate will be comfortable spending approximately 40% of their time outside the home office, meeting and activating the community in Vancouver and the surrounding areas. This role may also be required to travel interprovincially to engage with LLSC teams and leadership up to 4 non-consecutive weeks per year.

Your ability to inspire and motivate volunteers, paired with your proven track record in achieving ambitious goals, will be pivotal in our mission. If you are excited about the prospect of making a real impact in our community and are ready to embrace responsibility while enjoying the freedom to innovate, then we encourage you to join us on this journey.
