Electric Vehicles (EVs) will play a pivotal role in supporting a future based on renewable energy. That’s why we are building a large-scale network of 100% renewable powered, free, EV charging stations to make charging more convenient, fast and affordable.

About the role
We are looking for a seasoned marketing and communications leader with extensive experience in (digital) marketing, communications, and media advertising sales strategy to spearhead the launch and growth of our new brand in Canada. Proven local Canadian expertise in marketing and media advertising/sales strategy is essential.

Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Marketing and Communications strategy to drive significant growth and achieve JOLT’s business objectives, including crafting local brand positioning and strategy for JOLT in Canada.

    • Data-Driven Insights:
      Collaborate with technology and data platform partners to analyze consumer and advertising audience data, ensuring impactful market positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.

    • Integrated Communications:
      Design and implement an effective communications strategy across all touchpoints, including managing relationships with local PR agencies, overseeing recruitment, and executing high-impact campaigns.

    • Creative Asset Development:
      Partner with external agencies and designers to create top-tier marketing collateral, including content and advertising assets, as well as overseeing photography and videography to enhance brand presence (leveraging JOLT’s global brand guidelines).

Develop specific strategies relating to the following JOLT audience / stakeholder groups:
1) Media/Advertising Clients

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for JOLT’s Digital out-of-home and in-app advertising offerings, leveraging data and technology to drive revenue and support the Digital Media Advertising Sales team.
  • Collaborate with technology and data platform partners to analyze consumer and advertising data to create best-in-class positioning, pitching, and communications strategies and tactics.
  • Brief and collaborate with creative content partners to produce marketing materials, including PR releases, trade collateral, presentations, social media content, and advertising materials, as well as create events/experiences for clients, ensuring alignment with JOLT’s brand guidelines and overall campaign strategy.

2) Local Authorities/Councils

  • Support JOLT’s Commercial team in engaging with government entities and partners to advance sustainability goals and EV roll-out programs.
  • Create and manage council tender documents and other touchpoints to facilitate successful engagements and partnerships with local authorities.

3) EV Charging Customers

  • Develop and implement local marketing and communications strategies to expand JOLT’s EV-charging customer base.
  • Utilize a variety of communication channels, including digital platforms, automated database marketing, social media, and JOLT’s omni-channel media network, to execute brand and acquisition marketing strategies.
  • Analyze consumer data to continuously optimise marketing strategies.
