We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and disposing of outdated medications.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, providing medication information, and assisting with prescription refills.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Support the pharmacy team in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols is essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
