We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and disposing of outdated medications.
• Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, providing medication information, and assisting with prescription refills.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding medications and treatment plans.
• Support the pharmacy team in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription orders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $17.25-$25.06 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
