For our continuously growing business, we are currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager to be based at our Mississauga office.

Key functions and responsibilities:

  • Product Launch Planning: Working closely with Product Line Managers & sales, plan effective product launches based on product roadmaps and transitions. Review Product Launch Planner deliverables weekly for HA and CE with the stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Go-To-Market Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans and programs that include product launch plans, promotional strategies, and online marketing initiatives. Prepare GTM PPT decks for HQ for strategic products as mandated. Plan & implement ATL and BTL initiatives to optimize utilization of marketing investments to grow brand/product awareness and drive sales.
  • Product & Training Content Development: Develop/localize/source product spec sheets, feature-sheets, images, videos, manuals, guides, logos, packaging, e-POS, training presentations/videos & other content as required. Demonstrate feature, advantages, and benefits of products to highlight value and performance. Create retailer-specific training content and upload on the respective training platforms.
  • Presentation & Communication: Communicate progress of tasks, projects, and launch plans with all stakeholders. Update and present market plans, programs, and status of key projects & deliverables within the organization in regular meetings.
  • Sales Enablement: Lead creation of sales collateral such as spec sheets, brochures, marketing callouts, and training materials that help the sales team effectively communicate the value of the product to customers.
  • Product Advocacy: Build relationships with the industry media authorities, advocates, and influencers to generate product testimonials to build product credibility and demonstrate value to consumers.
  • Competitive Monitoring: Monitor and analyze competitors' products, content, websites, and promotions to assess best practices for future planning.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Working closely with other marketing functions (digital, creative, social, field reps), product management, sales, and service teams to ensure alignment on product launch process, tasks, and product assets & content.
  • Advertising & Promotional Planning: Design and execute marketing campaigns to drive sales during key seasonal and channel partner events. Work with media teams/agencies to drive product awareness & key promotions across all business units.
  • Metrics tracking and reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness & ROI of marketing programs.
  • Consumer Education: Identify consumer’s path & decision to purchase journey and implement initiatives for each consumer touch point to enhance product engagement & familiarity.
  • Channel Marketing: Lead development and execution of retail merchandizing through displays/fixtures, POS material, trade shows, and other customer events. Plan & execute channel-specific in-store & online marketing initiatives to maximize sell through opportunities.
  • Online Content: Work closely with digital and creative teams to provide product assets, feature content for them to develop product information pages and enhanced content. Working closely with product management, ensure accuracy of all product features, text, and specifications.
  • Translation, Copywriting & Proofreading: Oversee copywriting, proofreading and translation (French) of content with internal and external teams to ensure consistency & quality of content across all formats.
  • Training & Incentive: Update training content across all retailer’s platforms such as EPK, and customer-specific Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms. Work with Account Management teams to develop sales incentive programs for retail sales associates.
  • Project & Meeting Management: Lead weekly meetings with sales and PLM teams to review product marketing, new model introductions, and other projects/tasks, and ensure completion & contribution from other stakeholders.
  • Agency & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with PR, website support, retail merchandizing, creative and media agency partners to develop the right advertising messaging, press releases, and content for campaigns & new product introductions.
  • Retail Display & Merchandizing: Lead planning & execution of retail displays & fixtures nationally working with vendor partners, sales teams, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in a similar role working for a large brand in consumer electronics, appliance or similar industry

Strong strategic planning and execution abilities

Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners

Excellent public speaking and presentation skills in English. French is an advantage

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite

Working knowledge of Adobe Writer

Strong working knowledge of content creation, training, and SaaS platforms

Strong knowledge of content marketing and experience in copywriting & proofreading

Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders

Ability to drive and visit stores (have a valid driver’s license)

Ability to plan and execute effectively while working with multiple layers of approvals

Project and team leadership abilities

Experienced in managing budgets

Ability to manage end to end campaigns, measure ROI & analyze post campaign performance

Data analysis abilities to make informed decisions

  • 8 hour shift
