Job Title: Property Maintenance Coordinator

Location: St. John's, Mount Pearl & Dildo

Position Type: Full-Time

Overview:
Join our growing property management team as a Property Maintenance Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of both short and long-term rental properties. As a detail-oriented professional who leverages tech to ensure efficiency, you will complete and coordinate maintenance activities, oversee repairs, and contribute to enhancing the overall property experience for tenants through the use of new technology and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Coordination:

  • Leverage property management software to efficiently receive, prioritize, and track maintenance requests from tenants.
  • Utilize technology tools to schedule and dispatch maintenance personnel or contractors, ensuring prompt and streamlined resolutions.
  • Maintain and update a centralized digital system for accurate and real-time recording of maintenance activities.

Vendor Liaison:

  • Collaborate with maintenance vendors, contractors, and service providers using digital communication channels for seamless coordination.
  • Utilize technology platforms for obtaining quotes, scheduling services, and monitoring work quality.
  • Cultivate and manage positive digital relationships with vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective services.

Property Inspections:

  • Leverage digital tools to conduct routine property inspections, documenting findings through digital reporting.
  • Use technology for efficient communication with the property management team, providing digital updates and recommendations.

Tenant Communication:

  • Utilize communication platforms and apps to act as a liaison between tenants and maintenance personnel, providing timely updates on the status of maintenance requests.
  • Leverage technology to gather and analyze tenant feedback, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Utilize digital systems for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and vendor contracts.
  • Generate and present digital reports on maintenance trends, expenses, and property conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property maintenance coordination or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in property management software and other relevant digital tools.
  • Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and regulations.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management is a plus.
