For the holiday season we are seeking a Store Manager for our Montreal Trust location. The Store Manager reports to the District Manager and supervises the store environment in a way that promotes inclusion and the establishment of diverse relationships with customers. As a Retail Store Manager at Fruit & Passion, you will oversee the daily operations of a Pop-up retail establishment at Montreal Trust, ensuring smooth functioning and excellent customer service.

Job Overview

What will you do? You lead, train, coach and guide the team so that it achieves the store's objectives in terms of sales and profitability. You are also responsible for recruitment, performance management, training and development. Your ability to adapt to varied situations, environments, challenges, tasks and work schedules is essential to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure your store meets business goals and meets key performance indicators.
  • Run an operationally healthy business by ensuring your tasks are properly distributed (company policies and procedures, loss prevention, payroll, reporting and schedule preparation).
  • Oversee the recruitment, management, development and training of the best candidates passionate about sales, customer service and fashion.
  • Serve as a role model for customer experience and ensure that the team provides a shopping experience that promotes the creation of positive connections with customers and builds loyalty.
  • Implement marketing strategies while providing a clean, consistent and welcoming environment that encourages customers to shop.
  • Establish open and effective communication with the district director.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management or supervision experience, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve sales and customer service objectives.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and improving the customer
  • Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed set goals through effective merchandising, upselling and customer engagement.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize in a busy retail environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in French and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
