Keyera is currently seeking a Team Lead for Quality Measurement to join the Measurement and Analytics team. This position will play a key role in ensuring Keyera's products are adequately sampled, analyzed, and remain within specified parameters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and collaborate with the Quality Team comprised of professionals focused on product quality and analyzers
  • Support product quality stewardship for all commodities across all Business units
  • Support online and bench-top analyzers and associated work processes across all Keyera facilities
  • Engage team with quality assurance practices to validate product quality processes
  • Coordinate the investigation and resolve product quality issues and off-spec. events as a high priority
  • Lead external Customer support for all product quality concerns as communicated by internal stakeholder
  • Support the liaison with 3rd party laboratory service providers to achieve Keyera quality measurement requirements
  • Support the interpretation of quality specifications and analyses as required
  • Represent Keyera by actively engaging in industrial associations. Utilize information communicated to understand current quality concerns and shared with quality team and internal Stakeholders (i.e., API, CCQTA, Crude-Monitor)
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic and service oriented with the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in hydrocarbon measurement and quality control
  • Working knowledge of industry quality measurement standards and regulations
  • Previous leadership experience managing a team of professionals
  • Strong understanding of principles of sample measurement, lab processes, and quality related instrumentation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to create clear understanding of expectations; address challenges and issues for the team
  • Ability to professionally interact with individuals both inside and outside the company
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while handling time-sensitive competing priorities
