Canadian manufacturer of automotive specialty chemicals and detailing products is currently seeking a warehouse associate. If you are energetic, committed and in good physical condition this opportunity may be for you. Responsible for assisting the batch operator in all warehouse activities such as carefully measuring, weighing and filling raw materials into product batches according to formulations and ensuring accurate filling, packaging finished goods into bulk containers, order picking, carefully packing orders for shipment/pickup, general shop cleanliness. This role may also include some customer service duties as needed, such as: responding to customer inquiries, checkout at point of sale, order entry etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Measure, weigh and record materials according to batch record sheets to produce finished goods
• Package finished goods from completed batches
• Labelling of containers
• Stacking and lifting of heavy items (repetitively up to 25 kg)
• General cleaning such as but not limited to sweeping & mopping floors and cleaning warehouse racks
• Use of motorized equipment such as forklift equipment
• Assisting other warehouse/plant staff with various duties such as shipping and receiving
• Order picking/packing and creation of courier orders
• Other customer service duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to meet physical demands, including reaching, bending, walking, standing, and performing repetitive actions
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg, on a regular basis throughout the shift
• Basic mathematical knowledge
• Self-motivated; willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility with minimal direction
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Mechanical experience is an asset, but not required.
• Knowledge of detailing products/industry an asset
