RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Greeting and registering patients
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
  • Registers new patients and update existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information
  • Facilitates patient flow by communicating with patients and clinical staff
  • Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to medical records
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polite and assertive speech
  • Ability to prioritize; strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Customer service focused

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
